International Polar Bear Day Pt. I - Art

Feb 27, 2017 - 11:00 AM-12:00 PM (Eastern)

We invite your classroom to celebrate International Polar Bear Day by connecting LIVE to the Canadian Arctic, the backyard of our Polar Bears. On February 27th, students will be joining globally through video conference technology for a global conversation on global warming’s impact on the polar bears population and how art can be used to spread awareness about this issue. This will be a two part event. From 11:00-12:00 EST, selected school students will be sharing art they have created to spread awareness about the global warming’s impact on the polar bears population. From 12:30 to 2:00 EST, students will be joined by their global peers to continue the discussion. DATE AND TIME SUBJECT TO CHANGE
