In the month prior to each Virtual Town Hall, student leaders meet virtually on a weekly basis to create a common framework for the topic of discussion. Equipped with this knowledge and empowered through 21st-century technology, the student leaders facilitate a full day Virtual Town Hall with their peers from across the region.
Each Virtual Town Hall results in a collaborative White Paper that is presented to government leaders, industrial bodies, and often at related United Nations conferences.
Past National Virtual Hall Town topics and themes were Global Citizenship, Climate Change, First Nations reconciliation, Alberta's Oil Sands, and many more. You can find previous White Papers in our publications section.
